Of course we should talk about all sorts of things here... on the other hand, if the only thing you talk about here is politics, maybe there are some other places better suited. It doesn't give me the red ass one way or the other. I was just trying to help you be more happy.

I of course was not trying to limit any discussion. Everyone should feel welcome here, and I certainly don't mind any new thoughts or subjects.

On the other hand, I have found that everyone who doesn't agree with me is stupid.

Maybe he is like that Circuit Overseer I had who thought oil came from squished dinosaur guts. He probably can't figure out how it got under both the Gulf of Mexico and the sands of the middle east.

rush limbaugh is basically just another shock jock. he says outrageous things, much like howard stern and they are both multi-millionaires.

Rush's style is the use of parody and sardonic humor. What is the full context of his comment and tone of voice? Sometimes he will take up the opposing political position just to make a point and ruffle the feathers of the conservatives. Certainly, if we as ex-JWs have learned anything, then we should at least remember to be careful of taking quotes out of context.

Also, many of us have posted hundreds and hundreds of threads on various JW and ex-JW topics. But, as time goes by, these get forgotten. Maybe some of these can be brought back to the top for newer posters.

Think about this we are talking about him, he is not talking about us. I think he is the winner and he is laughing all the way to the bank. Who is the stupid person him or us as he walks his wheel barrel of money to the bank. Or us talking about how stupid he is.

Rush Limbaugh's purpose is to INFLATE his EGO, stay in the public eye, and MAKE lots of money ($$$$)!

That's all, nothing more about him, or, more importantly, FROM HIM, need be said or heard.
