It goes to show that the secular or worldly spirit that they accuse so much never left them, loving luxuries and being the god chosen FDS do not mix. They are obviously deceiving their followers with smooth words. Why did they not choose to live in poverty if they are such spiritual elite?

What I'm curious about is Rutherford's relationship with WP Heath, Sr.
Senior wasn't a BS/JW, although his wife and kids (WP Jr. and Susette) were.
So was he willing to buy Rutherford Cadillacs and pay for Beth Shan just on
their behalf or did he get something else out of the deal? If so, what?~Merry
