Okay, there's what... 225 Kingdom Melodies (in the 1984 songbook). When we were in, we sang these 225 songs, some of them many many times over. Yet, I can't remember the words to a complete Kingdom Melody.
However, I've listened to Blue Oyster Cult's "Agents Of Fortune" album many times, and I can remember pretty much all the lyrics.
Perhaps Kingdom Melodies are the ultimate collection of lullabys.

I played the piano at the Kingdom Hall until 1989 when the circuit overseer came around and told the elders to start using the Society tapes.
To learn the new songs in '84 I had to practice them over and over. And of course the lyrics stuck in my head for awhile. I'm a little rusty now, but now I find some of the stuff very funny or very sad.
