How but trying to hit those high notes like I think the song is 'What will you bring Jehovah's Kingdom' and you sing "Praise the universal sovereign for his love and righteousness" that world praise is an awfully high note to suddenly sneak up on you and likely to cause a unsuspecting gum chewer to swallow and choke if not careful. The transition from high notes to low notes in many of those songs is ridiculous, but the melodies do stick in my head after being raised in the 'truth' even though I have been away for several decades.

"other god's just cannot see, what in future days will be"

& "ours is the god of true prophecy what he foretells comes to be"

A good one to sing by the campfire:

(Sad music, slow tempo in a minor key)

Lazarus lay sleeping in a cold stone grave.

How his sisters mourned him, none there him could save

If his friend Christ Jesus, had but come before

Lazarus would not have passed through Hades door

(Then comes happy, faster music and some lyrics with the story about the resurrection of Lazrus)

You gotta love the line about " bees that were molested"

    And this:

    All things we do to please our God;
    The world we've left behind.
    The unbelievers think we're odd,
But this we do not mind.

I always liked song 118 in the 1966 songbook:

    What love Jehovah showed

    What wisdom from him flowed

When to this earth He sent His Son

    Christ Jesus showed the way...

My wife and I actually marched down the aisle to it's tune at our wedding.

The melody has a strange beat and many times I've heard people struggle to sing it correctly. I liked it but I have to admit it was a different beat. But, then, I like songs with varying beats. For those who are familiar with old English hymns a parallel can be found in "And can it be?" (which is still one of my favorite hymns)
