I'm just freeforming here, I might change my mind by the end of my rant. A man's home is his castle I figure, and a woman her nest. Guests can't poopy all over the place without consequences. Many of us are too polite to boot out an offensive guest unless they become threatening. But a rude guest might find they're not invited back.
Out there in the big, bad world I figure they can rant and rave all they want. It's a free country, after all. But at home? Respect the owner.
So, is restricting our association in our homes, the same as shunning? SHUN is a dirty word here on JWD. In our sensitivity to the word, I don't think we need to apologize to anyone who oversteps their bounds. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home.
Rant over.
