Both of my kids brush their teeth in the shower. I found that out years ago when I started to take toothbrushes out of the shower and put them back into the toothbrush holder. ( they can't do that themselves, just as they can't put a new roll of toilet paper on the tp holder. Instead, they must stand the new roll up on top of the cardboard tube of the empty roll <sigh>.) I guess I can't say, "brush your teeth at the sink! I've never heard of anyone brushing their teeth in the shower!" to any of them anymore.

4. My older sister raised my brother and I from the time I was 12 years old. I was part time street kid/part time living at my sister's
5. I have a 9 year old nephew who I love dearly
6. I am an avid football (American) and hockey fan
7. Love historical novels, A&E specials, history channel etc. Also am a trivia nut playing NTN every Tuesday night (sure beats meetings!!)
8. I DJ weddings as a hobby (pays well too) and bar tab is usually covered! :)
9. I currently run two businesses; one is locating & matchmaking Angel investors and venture capitalists with start up companies in the Hi-tech industry
10. My last meeting was 4 years ago and have been enjoying life to the fullest ever since... trying pretty much anything once (twice if it sounds fun) trying to get rid of all the old WT-induced prejudices.

Joel - awesome thread! I feel like I know everybody a little better.

1. I was born in Quincy, IL and moved ALOT as a child!
2. I grew up mostly in Hawaii, Missouri and Kansas.
3. I am the oldest of three - the only girl - twin brothers are 19 and regular pioneers in Hawaii.
4. I am recently 30, divorced, no kids, but have a FANTASTIC boyfriend, Neil.
5. I have two dogs, Henry and Mandy.
6. Patricia Cornwell, Dean Koontz, Ken Gire, and Max Lucado are my fave authors.
7. I love Morrissey, The Cure, Paul Oakenfeld, and Abba.
8. I love sports - softball and volleyball are my games. I'm taking golf lessons this fall.
9. My house is decorated with Japanese and Hawaiian art.
10. My dream job would be to own a studio and be a photographer.

ok i wish i could have a really cool story as to how it happened ie, snowboarding, rollerblading, skydiving accident, but that is not the case. . . . .

early on this year as i was leaving work, i was jumped by some guy in a ski mask wielding a lead pipe, he approached me from behind and in hindsight i am quite lucky to be alive, the only reason i know that he was behind me was cuz i saw him approach as i was opening my car door and i heard the crunching of the snow underneath his feet which stopped directly behind me,
as i turned around i saw him pull this pipe from underneath his jacket, i pushed him back and started to run, it gave me a few secs to run but he swung the pipe and got my arm which i realized after the fact, it was so cold that i didn't feel the bone snap, i turned and kicked him in th stomach and sent him back causing him to drop the pipe, for some reason he turned around and ran, i made it back to the shop and the paramedics were called, i spent the next 3 days in ICU, because during the attack my spleen burst, which was removed the following day,
