Well, I've given it all a bit more thought and I think its kind of ingenious on Blessed Star's part that she had come up with a way to participate here on the forum by having her own "For Nice People Only" thread! And look how many nice people have responded! Those kindergarten teachers never give up on us!
By golly! She knew we'd come through and be good little responders!

But seriously, we are a very diverse group arent we? And I am proud to be a member in good standing on this forum. It is a healing place of tolerance and grace, understanding and compassion.

Blessed Star, thankyou for opening up this discussion. You found alot of nice people just like you hoped to and we all benefitted.

And another thing, I quite enjoyed her efforts to steer our conversation toward upbuilding though fluffy discussions. We need that too. So many of us are isolated and really need friends to share the fluff with.
I remember Billy Goat had a thread about her Blessing Journal. I havent forgotten that and feel there was some sound wisdom in keeping one. How easily we can train our minds to dwell on only the bad and sad of the world and our own lives. How much healthier to remain balanced by remembering there is alot of good in the world too and in our own lives.

People need people, most of all people need the Lord. I know a lot of people on this board don't care about God but there are many people out there who are only surrounded by negative things so I believe there are "nice" people out there who can lift up the ones who are down.

What a NICE pattern of hearts and flowers, Sicko! You are truly nice in every way. I'm sure BS won't mind the animal sacrifices (sarfice?) since they are for God and he is the Nicest being of all...even though he does threaten to send us to Hell or kill us dead if we don't do what he wants.
