Ok, Matt, please educate me. I don't think I've ever watched this before. Why is Dr. Who so appealing?

I started a thread on this. Who fans say that 3/17 is a probable date for the first airing on the SCI-FI Channel. I remember when the local PBS station aired these and then suddenly it stopped. Boo hoo, but now happy days are here again.

We're fans - used to watch it on our local PBS station, but it hasn't been on for a long time now. Got a hoot out of the background and props obviously made of cardboard, tin foil and lots of duct tape - hilarious!

Already seen it, and I though it wasn't too bad...am pleasantly surprised to hear the Dr has a following in the states x

I thought it was good - the story lines seem a bit wacky at times, but I kept reminding myself how this kind of thing used to make me hide behind the sofa scared to death as a child. The little bits of subtle humour thrown in is what made it for me.
