Anyone else hear the rumor that they are beginning to sell some of the residence buildings in Brooklyn? I heard from a reliable source that 2 of the residence bldgs are on the market now or will be very soon. Also was told that they plan to "layoff" 1000+ in Brooklyn Bethel by years end. More emphasis on the ministry it seems as many are being asked to go to a particular place and pioneer.

Hey Danny. Yes I had read that article about 360 Furman already. What I am referring to is the sale of actual bethelite residence buildings not factory or shipping buildings. This tells me that they are preparing for the massive "layoffs".

This is the first time i have heard of this. What an eye opener.
For so many years at the KH they would point to all of the other religions closing buildings for cash.
Hmmmmmmmmm
I recently saw a post on the board about a KH for sale in Northern RI. Can anyone give me a clue where that post might be??
I think i know which KH it is, to appease my curiosity.

So how much cash did the WTBS actually pocket, after the sale of 360 Furman? Will they pay taxes on this amount, or still feign being a non-profit organization?
