Oh god I don't remember half of that stuff. Maybe I am a little bit younger, or didn't care to pay attention(most likely the latter )
I do remember the pink song books.....Green Bibles? I remember seeing the old people have them.

I noticed quite a few small *jabs* at the WTS, but #29 really stood out. I bet the JW email chain-gang will read that one and go, "Huh? I thought my dedication was always to Jehovah??"
My guess is also that someone on the out put this together to make the JW's think about some of the past changes....but they masked it well by putting in quite a bit of silly and harmless info too.

I think the interpretation of #29 is in the mind of the reader.
*We* read it with wide eyes because we are more conscious of the change than the average JW.
I think the average JW just reads thru it sort of like 'Remember when you were 6 and stopped to pick flowers for your mom so she would know you loved her?' 'Remember how brightly the sun shone on the day of your wedding?' 'Remember when you got baptized as a symbol of your dedication to Jehovah?'
Of course, my mind went to the change in baptism vows, too.

Makes me feel old!! I remember 97% of this stuff. So many years wasted, so much time hurrying around, so many things missed out on w/my kids. Many marriages broken over this religion, depressed people, sad families, over-punished kids, people who have lost loved ones because of certain teachings i.e. blood,etc.,etc.,etc.
I feel sad.
