I was so nervous walking back to the car I thought I was going to faint.

Isn't it funny how an Organisation ...a supposed christian one, can hold a person so captive, that they are afraid to counter them?

I remember the first time I entered a christian book store. I was scared to death I'd be seen by a witness there.....even though I knew a witness would not be in a christian book store. When I ordered COC at the counter, I was even more afraid. I now look back and laugh at myself.

You did good XBEHERE! You stood up for what you believe and didn't want to mislead anymore.

Be careful how you exit my friend. If you can do so without reprocussions, you'll be better off as you know.

But may I suggest that you not just flat out stop coming around anymore after your next explanatory visit. If you care about her, continue to visit occassionally, just as a regular guy, stopping to see how she is doing. Share a few encouraging thoughts non-JW-related. Show her you don't have to be "on a mission" to care about your "neighbors."

No, but how many Witnesses didya see when you went into your very first Porn Shop? I'll bet the entire elder body was there.

Wow. Now, that's what I call a field service experience. It brings to mind my daughter trick or treating last fall. Her friend told every house that this was my daughter's first time trick or treating, because she used to be a Jehovah's Witness. They cleaned up. I'll bet the JWs get some strange responses when they work that street.

I remember a story of some apostates who parked near the Kingdom Hall on Saterday morning's and would follow a car group making Return Visits. After the car group pulled away from the house, the apostate bastards would go to that same door and leave anti-witness literature exposing the dubs...............lol ( well I thought it was funny anyway)

You are alot more ethical than i am, I have no problem with giving people magazines, I just dont do returns.

Way to go! I doubt she'll rat you out to the dubs and might even tell her friends the story about the JW who didn't believe in the mags anymore!

When I was active in my local congregation, there was an ex-jw "apostate" who went around to all of her RV's and Bible Studies and apologized for teaching them "this". I only had 1 study and she was shaky so unfortunately I couldn't do the same...but hooray for you!
