Da Bible says that they could'nt eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad...

So did they not know "good from bad"? And if that's the case... there is no "sin"...as without knowledge there is no wrongdoing (so says Paul).

Wacky xtians and their wacky deities...

My how you've lost your appreciation for the more spiritual things U/D....ya poor bastard.

Adam and Eve knew what bad was, they just never personally experienced it. Kinda like we know what death is, but never experienced it ourselves.....yet. They saw animals die, so they knew what death and non-existence was and knew this was there fate should they disobey. It was in this manner they knew what sin was.

The above is the explanation the Society gives as to how they KNEW what sin was.

Biblically mode <ON>: (This is all about Adams comparison with us)

Its all about understanding. You've got a guy that appears with no reference to anything, that commits the sin of eating some fruit he was told not to, and has to die for it. This guy has no idea what death means. Yeah, he sees a few animals die, rot, and disappear,. But how can he understand the real meaning behind death.

No one has died before him.

God doesn't communicate with the animals. They are explained to Adam as livestock. For someone to tell him he will not exist beyond this point has no rational, because he has not experienced the human life-death cycle. How could he feel death without-end (or torture, if your so inclined) as a real possibility.

The time we are told about Adams real / full understanding, is after he ate the fruit. So, Adam is closer to us (and to the big picture) than we might imagine, but, only AFTER his eating the fruit. And why is he closer to us after eating the fruit? Knowledge !

The difference is, Jesus givesUS grace to attain salvation. There are no biblcal references to Jesus getting Adam of the hook.
