LOL! That's how I ordered my copy of COC - too much vodka and rum. Never did feel bad about ordering it. My wife wanted to know WTF was I doing with COC. I told her that I had all I could take of the Society. Funny thing is that she agreed. Both of us never looked back at the un-Truth. Buh-Bye Society - liars, slanderers, crackpots!

I found Ray Franz to be a total bore in his books, Penton at least has some talent no doubt aided by the fact he is a scholar.. Though it was interesting after reading CofC to go back and count the number un-sourced plagerizations of this book I have encountered on the internet the last few years. Mind-boggling.

Add this to all of your posts since you came on board in January as a total know-it-all, and never telling anything about yourself............you don't show much credibility.
My guess is that you are a one man band and probably always have been. Maybe by the time you grow up, you will be able to think a little better and comment a little better on matters that so many on this board have been through and have much more knowledge of certain subjects than you can comprehend.
Now I invite you to prove me wrong if you will. Perhaps it is your immaturity that makes you so knowing.

This is why I can only find patience to post on this forum once or twice a month . It seems that people from a certain POV cannot say anything without being whipped on some level. I am actually a peaceable, agree-able debater, but this is like the 4th or 5th or time someone has questioned my intelligence, said I was full of "bullshit", or called me a "bastard" since I have been here.clippity clop, clipptiy clop- as DTTP scurries off on his horse to other forums til the next month or so... cippity clop, clippity clop...clippitty clop

DTTP - Personally I found out stuff from CoC that I had never read before. It amazed me quite frankly. I had no idea half that stuff had gone on. At times it got really heavy and he went into lots of detail about things and I admit I skimmed over those sections but all in all it was an enlightening read!

As far as actual documentation I have not saved any, I could probably go find some. On Bnet they was a well read fella that I highly respected named Jwtruth. He would use that book like a textbook. The Bethel apostasy questions were extracted and placed in argumentation and the like. It was just an opinion on my part, I was not looking to argue or make some great point about it, just an observation that I think many would be forced to agree with.
