So that was you who posted the pic of Joel and Slugger. Bad uncle. Don't email it to me. After a few beers I would be too tempted to send it to others which I would later regret.

There is a story going round about two couples who were expecting their babies around the same time. They'd picked names for the kids already, and as it turned out they'd decided on the same first name. So the dads, in their ultimate wisdom, made a bet. Whoever's kid arrived first got to be named by the name that was already chosen, AND that couple had to pick another name for the kid who wasn't yet born.

WARNING: Never test a friendship like this.

As it happened, the couple who won this competition decided that their friends' kid would be given the name Shithead. And because real men don't welch on their bets, that was the name that went on the birth certificate.

The mom got all creative though, and put a hyphen in it so that it looks like this: Shi-thead and pronounced shee'-thid or something obtuse like that.
