I thought the anger that was showed by two of the characters was appropriate for what had happened to them. And I didn't feel that all of the black characters were angry.

I thought it was entertaining, but nowhere near a 'best picture'.
They tried to cram too many characters into it, and they all ended up being very one dimensional. (BTW, wasn't Brendan Fraser a little young to be the district attorney of LA county?)
The writing was also very emotionally manipulative, and by the numbers.
(Incidentally David Cronenbergs' Crash from 1996 is actually a much better movie.)

Well, you know those negroes! If they're not tap-dancing they're shooting up the neighborhood or yelling, "B!tch better have my money!"!
Oh the whole I like the Spics and Beaners a whole lot better. They know their place.

Canadian director David Cronenberg is one of my favorites. His filmography includes his newest "History of Violence" from last year, and 1988's "Dead Ringers" with Jeremy Irons playing twins: highly recommended.
I wondered how they could use the title "Crash" for last year's film until you learn copyright laws for motion pictures. I haven't seen it but will rent it.
