And another thing; If I hear one more person say that such and such (usually evolution) is merely a theory I am going to scream. Or is that scram.

Oh well anyway as Hojon pointed out forces are well understood by physicists. Forces are transmitted by particles. The electromagnetic force is transmitted by the photon. Other nuclear forces are transmitted by other particles. These particles have been predicted to exist by quantum theory and they have been verified in experiments. The graviton has been predicted but has not been seen experimentally yet.

Regarding this conspiracy bullshit even if the US govt could keep things hush hush do you think the rest of the world is going to cooperate? I'm quite sure any number of scientists out of reach of the US govt would enjoy getting a Noble prize. Or do you think only the US has discovered these alleged secrets?

Sorry, i do tend to get a little carried away at times... ok alot.... ok im a frekin idiot at times. The point I was tryin to get across at the time with area 51 is that the government does cover things up. For example what does go on at Area 51. Thats all, sorry I went a little overboard there... I just like a good debate :)

I didnt mean the US Gov, i didnt even say the US Gov ( I dont think) I ment gov's in general. In my opinion tho, most Gov's that are advanced enough to do these experiments, (Russia, US, Great Britain, Japan, Etc.) Could possible cover things up. Sorry I even brought up the evolution thing, anything else i should retract? :)

I've noted with some exasperation the fundys delight in referring to species survival as a theory, as if that proves something of import. Anyway, I also note that both the general and special explanations of relativility are also called "theories" and yet the Hydrogen bomb works; as do any number of other natural phenomena. Makes you wonder if the entire thing is a rhetorical
