Which means that we don't know what age they had sex with the girls, meaning age was not at issue for them. I have never read a scripture saying "Take all of the virgins for your self, except for the ones under 18".

It`s sick. It was sick back then, and it is sick now, and it is proof to me that not every word in the Bible is "inspired", even if I were to accept the God of the Bible.

I always knew these accounts, but being out of the Org. really makes a difference in how I read them. I just can't imagine Jesus agreeing with it either.
Perhaps that's why Jesus never came back - perhaps after living as a human and seeing all the terrible suffering, he had a few choice words for his Father when he got back to heaven??
