That was written 2,500 years ago.Closer to 2600 actually!!
Zephaniah's prophecy was finally fulfilled when the Babylonians overtook Judah.
There's a shade of apocalyptic in Zephaniah's writing but again the WTS has their "types™" and "antitypes™" and "greater fulfillment™" and all that.
Even so, there's nothing to imply the urgency that the WT is claiming anyway.

But that's all?!?!?!?Hello people the article itself was written six years ago. So six more years for JW to stay pantingly and tantalizingly close to the end of the system with the end so close. *yawn* Six years doesn't seem like a long time, unless you're hanging on the edge of your seat for the entire time.
ps, I like the way for dramatic element the article refers to a tragedy in Japan while showing a picture of the Japanese "brothers and sisters".... LOL
The message is clear. You Japs are falling asleep on the job, what happened to all the extraordinary zeal you showed in the 80's and 90's?????
