Wonderful words from the CO at the assembly. Not only are we in the last days, we are in the "last days of the last days", and that the fall of religion and the start of the great tribulation is so close. Hah, even went so far as to say "possibly within a year".
Ahhhhh man, things may be "bad" right now with Iran/Iraq etc. But come on, its war, its been going on since man invented weapons. Whenever bad things start to develop the Hovah's always think its the end.

Jehovah's Witnesses, in their eagerness for Jesus' second coming, have suggested dates that turned out to be incorrect. Because of this, some have called them false prophets. Never in these instances, however, did they presume to originate predictions 'in the name of Jehovah.' Never did they say, 'These are the words of Jehovah.' In a modern governed society one would wonder how they can be allowed to exert influence into other peoples lives, and that they aren't the subject of a mental health Act.
