    Hi unclear.

    Welcome.

I liked your post. I think it probably helped you to write it. I find it is often helpful to write out my thoughts. It helps me to clarify my thinking. I hope you continue to post, and continue to hash out the thoughts in your head.

    Thanks so much.

Looking _glass, I'm very sorry about your gran....what you told that elder was priceless. Good for you! As far as I'm concerned, there are far too many elders that offer their own thoughts on matters, not God's. HUGS....

Welcome Unclear, I was a pioneer for years like you and even then I had my doubts too. I have been free now for 4 years and although difficult at first it was well worth it. I was taught never to question but to wait on Jehovah. To research, but only within the societies literature. No wonder we aren't allowed to read any 'outside' literature, we might actually learn something that conflicts with the org's man made doctrines. It's so clear to me now that there is so much that is false within the 'truth'. This clarity will come to you too. Be happy.

You have recieved alot of advice, and I'm not going to add to it. Rely on your faith in God. A great encouragement for you would be Psalm 44. The author is unknown to us as well as the events surrounding it, but it is a wonderful encouragement. When reading the psalm is becomes apparent that the Israelites where treated very badly by somebody and didn't deserve it. Despite this the psalmist still resolves to follow his God.
I wish you the very best

Hi love and welcome to our little home. Is your son okay? Were you put in a position where you had to decide on blood? I hope everything is fine. Still, it would have been enough to make you think; does God really want him to die? He doesn't you know.

I'm just going to pick up on this because I can relate to it:

Questioning if this organization is not right, then who's is? Can there be an untimate truth?

... actually probably every JW can relate to it, as can anybody else who has ever had faith in anything. An important thought; if there is an ultimate truth, are you going to find it by rejecting everything that makes you question the one you're in? And if you're in one that prohibits you from questioning it, can it really be the ultimate truth? The ultimate truth would stand up to anything.

I have decided that if The Truth is out there, it will find me when I'm in the right frame of mind. I have given up my loved ones, and it hurt deeply for a while, but I promise that life now is so much better that I'd ever imagined it could be.

Anyway, all the best with what your'e going through, it's so painful; but there are so many people who are doing the same thing or who have come through unscathed. Don't hesitate to ask for help or support when you need it.
