Yes, my parents have many older publications. Upon actually examining what was in those old publications, it is quite shocking to say the least! One thing I just could not get out of my head was this question: Why upon Jesus selection and identifying the Faithful Slave in 1914/1919 did Jesus DIRECT his Slave to teach things that would only later be discarded. Hasn't the Slave rejected what the Master had approved of?? The Society likes to dismiss these questions saying the light gets brighter. However, Jehovah and Jesus are perfect! They WOULD NOT direct their sheep in a FALSE direction, only to discard those teachings later! If you use the light gets brighter analogy, then why have so many teachings gone back and forth between right and wrong?? The Society uses this "light gets brighter" excuse to cover up THEIR faulty thinking. They in reality are saying, "Jehovah and Jesus couldn't get it right the first time!" How do we explain that what was once taught as TRUTH is no longer TRUTH today?? Truth NEVER changes!! Otherwise it was never really Truth! They will say, " The brothers used to celebrate Christmas, smoke, etc. too! But the light got brighter, and they abandonded those beliefs, the same way they abandonded certain teachings." My reply to that is, " I can see abandoning things they were ALREADY doing that they felt was from Christendom. However, these older publications were filled with teachings that they BEGAN to preach AFTER being identified!!" They were NEW teachings, taught as truth. Jesus supposedly drew them out of false religion only to teach them MORE false Truths?????? Infact, one publication made a comment in it that those words (that were in the publications) were as if from Gods mouth himself. That he (the faithful slave) was Gods mouthpiece. There is NO explanation as to why they don't preach today, the same things as they did back then, if it truely was from Jehovah!
Will they look back 100 years from today and say that what they had preached in our time, was "old light", and abandon the teachings taught today?? If so.. then is what is being taught today as Truth, REALLY Truth?? I think the answer is obvious!

Keep all those old books . It is apostate insurance, The WTS truth today will be WTS lies tommorrow, That is how the WTS operates. They are masters of mind control and everthing coming from the control tower is taken as gospel truth by millions of brain washed dubs.
That is right TRUTH DOES NOT CHANGE AND IT NEVER WILL. The WTS are mini jehoovers. They have set themselves in that role officially since 1931 when that crazed SOB rutherford came up witt the name "jehoovers witnesses."

Most of the old stuff to me was just funny. Like prophets of old coming back. Can you imagine poor Moses trying to figure out what was going on. "where am I ... who am I and who the h*ll are you!" Then is Finished was a hoot as well. Some of it I thought was a little like the "voodoo that you do so well" kind of stuff.
So my question to all is .... do you feel that any form of organized religion is good? If so, why?
