waiting, waiting,waiting.........NOT! I've gotten on with my life.

However I do remember being a youngin' and thinking I would never go to Jr. High School, then High School, then get married, then have children, then see any of my children got to school (1970's) let alone ever graduate from High School. My oldest Granddaughter will be starting Jr. High next year and all 4 grandchildren are in school.........why wait life is too short Jehober!

The wait on Jehovah expression is the same expression as the Catholics using it is a mystery. The expression creates laziness, as I see it yes somethings are out of our control and truly will take God to fix them, but somethings are in our control if I do not have a job and I get a job which may cause me to miss some of my meetings, I do not believe Jehovah would want me to wait for the perfect job and let my family suffer. However what a person could do is take this job and then activetly look for another one so that they could start making all of their meetings again.

    Sure did!
You could say I gave them about every chance they had a right to expect and then some. Although I've never been DF'd, I have been shunned. I was cheated out of wages by several of the JWs I worked for. And there were other things. At the end, I finally realised that God wasn't going to clean that Rat's nest up. which said to me they weren't really his organization. So I stopped going.

Almost everything lead to dissappointment in wt organization, that was just one of many. The fact there is no new system will be the biggest for all still in.

I think this is part of an equation:

    If:
Wait on Jehovah = Wait on Gods Organization
    Then
Wait on Gods Organization = Be quiet, didn't you know we are in the TRUTH.

My mom uses "wait on Jehovah" out of desperation. She says "what else can she do?

Her ability to take control of her life is nil because of years of endocrination.

Yep - 1975 came and went. My youth came and went. No career. No oral sex [bummer]. Well, maybe just a little oral sex. Brother did not live to see the new system. Mom did not live to see it. Grandkids are now two, five and seven. But they will not be waiting. We got out.

I was never a firm believer about 1975. I thought Jesus' words had more meaning but anyone that looked forward to the end then---- must've been severely disappointed. Imagine waiting on Jehovah year after year, decade after decade, over a quarter century---into a new millenium! And they wonder why the Witnesses don't want to "do more"???

I waited on Jehovah to send me a spouse. So I'm 42 and still single. Maybe I need to work in harmony with my prayers and join match.com.
