JWs have every type of malady known to man! The newest affliction is Witnesses crying and running out of Kingdumb Halls because they got a whiff of someone's cologne, after shave or perfume. Too bad. I love colognes. I've got over 50 scents. And I'm proud to use deodorant too!

The thing I noticed is that these scents only bothered them at the KH, not at the grocery store, movie theater, etc.

Maybe it was the smell of the KH that bothered them.

The perfume thing really made me shake my head. Not that there aren't those at the conventions that are completely overloaded with the stuff. I shook my head at it being in an article in the KM. That is the place of a well meaning friend to inform another that they must not have noticed that their perfume bottle broke on them while dressing that morning and that perhaps they should wash some of it off. I guess there aren't enough rules to follow yet. On a different but related note... I used to always wait months before making reservations for the DC because I just hated the mad rush for the information board and then the mad dash to the car to secretly call "after business hours" (naughty naughty) on your cell phone to get the really good rooms. This year I decided I was sick of being stuck in the slums and waited in the lobby until the list was brought out and was the first in line to get the number I needed. I didn't even bother writing down two numbers! :-O I then brought out my cell phone and immediately started dialing right there in the lobby. You should have seen the look of shock from all of those huddled around me that were about to go out to their cars to do the very same thing thinking no one would know. Oh well, at least I will have a nice room to relax in after each day of sleeping through the sessions.

I think that this year, I'll make a sojourn down to Long Beach and berate the JWs that I see walking about for not following the "gentle chidings" of the Geriatric Body by leaving the DC site. I also think I'll go to the Hometown Buffet, and count how many J-Dubs I see being gluttonous. Perhaps I'll confront them, also.

Mwhaaaaa, mwhaaaa, mwhaaaa!

Elsewhere

The same elements of poor behavior brought up annually has led me to believe that JWs are either:
A: Totally uncivilized people with no sense of decorum, or
B: The GB, in its constant quest for more & more control in the lives of the R&F, kepp rehashing the same issues from years ago.

They have been taught that unless they have someone telling them exactly what to do all of the time they will degenerate into immoral, crude and violent animals.

Since they have turned over full control of their lives to the WTS they have never learned to be accountable for their own choices and actions.
