Sounds like the husband is a 'Prince among Princes'.

I'd like to be a fly on the wall the day his perceived realitys hit the floor and his blinkers come off. Perhaps he's just pretending that it's all NOT happening. How awful it must be for his wife that he is not taking the time to spend her last few days and weeks with her.

Life is not precious to JWs only 'Time' written on a piece of paper.

It's like the bit in Dead Poet's Society, where Robin Williams' character lampoons the assigned text's introduction for stating that a poem's worth can be plotted on a graph with 'Truth' on one axis and 'Beauty' on the other...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of something like that as a reply... I was going for '12 inches of throbbing spirituality', but decided against it as it sounds like something off a Dubbie MySpace profile...

Since I am still an active JW this has got to be one of my biggest pet peeves. JWs are so judgemental when it comes to these things... if you pioneer you are a revered, the elders are the worst at this judging thing, they judge each other too. I can't tell you how many times in elders meetings that its brought up that elders dont comment enough or arent out supporting f***ing weekend witnessing. So fu**ing passive agressive too since its always "certain elders dont do this or do that.." Unscriptural, unloving, unchristian...take your pick.

Anybody who has a WT CD, it'd be interesting to see how often they cite or quote Heb 10:24-25. That passage has to be one of the top 2 or 3 in WTS litter-ature.

For Christians, John 3:16 is generally considered to be the key scripture of the NT. But I bet WTS literature references it less often than the scripture from Hebrews mentioned above.
