The other important issue that the JWs forget is that many lives were messed up by the FDS predictions whether they are to be defined as prophecies or expectations. Their practical results were very damaging for many.
"False Prophecies or Wrong Expectations" how do JW's decide between the 2?

If you are trying to find Joe's Crab Shack and stop to ask directions you risk being given wrong ones. Then again; no great damage if you get lost.If you ask your Pharmacist for sleeping pills and he gives you rat poison that is another matter altogether!
The issue of False Prophecy vs Wrong Expectations all comes down to how you FRAME THE ISSUE.
The Watchtower Society presents itself as a source--no, strike that! THE ONLY SOURCE of information about End Times which must be considered true.
The Watchtower magazine and its bible related publications are considered the sole instruments of communication to mankind about Divine Will in the last days.
They are the self-styled "faithful and discreet slave" entrusted with taking care of the Master's domestics to give them food at the proper time.
This slave-class ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR SPEAKING IN THE MASTER'S NAME AND ACTING WITH HIS AUTHORITY.
There is no reason to listen to a word they say IF THEY ARE ONLY GIVING EAGER OPINIONS LIKE EVERY OTHER CHURCH IN CHRISTENDOM.
Let us face it, End Times speculation is a specialty of Christendom. It has gone on for centuries! Christendom's opinions are always wrong (as is borne out by the fact the END never comes!)
If the Watchtower predictions and expectations and exhortations in their official literature is just as wrong as Christendom's......
How can they consider themselves actually different???
The Jehovah's Witnesses either receive DIRECTIONS FROM JEHOVAH or the DON'T!
Repeated failed prophetic date-setting has proved the case one way or the other already.
The issue of being "eager" is irrelevent. All christians are eager for the fulfillment of promises delayed thousands of years.
The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is a hoax! It has no actual authority and receives no actual instructions from God.
They misrepresent the source of their prophecy "understanding" and actually have NO COMMISSION TO PREACH this worthless failed messege door to door. It is more dangerous than it is helpful. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES, in the final analysis, are a distraction and a waste of time at the very least. They are a menace and a cult otherwise. Millions now dead will never live! And all because of the Watchtower.

I am wondering just what do JW's consider a "false prophet"?
Anyone outside of the Governing Body who makes predictions that don't come true.
How do they make the decision on who is and who is not a false prophet?
Please see above explanation.
