It has limited value, and approaches meaningless, to discuss IQ as a "score" unless the test is specified.
Hence, most discuss IQ as a percentile.
For example, a score of 148 on the Cattell test is the same percentile-wise as a score of 130 on the Stanford Binet 5.
Many psychologists do not believe that IQ tests give universally valid results because there are different types of intelligences and they do not take that into account. I believe they are correct.
I use to know my IQ but I fear its gone down since talking to the elders for such long peroids of time, so I may have to check it again.
I took an online test and got 140. Needless to say I was very pleased.
I always thought I was slow and stupid.
So I have always worked on my attitude and love for people and appreciation.
So now it turns out I am smart AND wonderful!!!!

I agree with greendawn. I knew some absolute geniuses who were great inventors and visionaries but did not do well on IQ tests. So I don't buy into numbers at all.
I read this nutrition guy's blog on the Internet. www.donlemmon.com - He's married to Asia Carrera, former porn star and Mensa member. They have the cutest baby Catalina and are expecting another in a few months. What does one have to be to be in Mensa? (IQ wise).
took three test 153, 149, and 142 but not in that order. It also depends how tired you are as well (wide awake or after a hard day at work)
The best IQ tests are non-written. No trains heading toward each other, just problem solving using objects.
