The point is the bible states not to eat blood and All scriptures are beneficial!

Thing is, if all scriptures are beneficial, why do they ignore old testament rules such as - no cutting of the hair or shaving? Instead the jw's make up a rule that you must shave.

And as for blood, we eat it in England - it's called black pudding.

I half agree with you there jw. Blood transfusions are a personal health choice. I'd be interested to see any Scriptural references to them though. And please don't refer me to Acts, that mentioned eating blood. I have also heard the argument about intravenous drips, so don't bother with that either.

Actually, the decision not to take blood isn't based on the Scriptures, just the wts interpretation of them.
