This thread is MUCH more constructive than many of the comments and attacks I see directed towards the few active and loyal JWs that lurk around here.

Typically what I see people saying is "you're not supposed to be here". That is technically true, the WTS has forbidden them to visit apostate sites and the like, and has also forbidden them to pay any attention to any non-JW arguments, ideas or forms of reasoning.

This attitude is highly counter-productive to anyone who actually wants to do something positive in this world. In my opinion, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, and likewise you will open more minds by welcoming people and having open discussion, than you will by telling them to get lost because their evil masters have forbidden them to associate with people like us.

That's THEIR rule, it doesn't have to be ours.

Masturbation does remove the stress caused by going into field service and meetings I think I did more of it...... Smoking well yes I did quit but still took pot on occasion.... It kept me sane!!! About 2 years of studying before then baptism.

Unfortunately for them, jw's are surprisingly easy to despise. (the "I have the truth and you don't attitude" is just always obnoxious no matter how you package it!!!)
As a result, most here will feel more inclined to give them a good theocratic slapping around.
The problem is that only reinforces their worldview of apostates/df/da - types being bad people.
You want to mess with jw? Mess with his world view. Kill him with kindness, reasoned discussion, fair questions, logical debate, and even sympathy.
The longer jw stays here, the shorter his/her stay in spiritual bondage.

W-a-C the red text is one of jw's trade marks he reds his text in replies, Kinda like some of the bibles make gods/jesus words in red. Makes them sacred truths or sumthin' like that.
