I live in an apartment building, and I just heard the door bells ringing here and there, which automatically made me think that it could be the JW's...
When someone is at the door here, knocking or ringing, I'm always fearful that it will be them....
Nope, cause they never call on me, ever! Dont want them to either.
I'm not expecting a visit from my 'shepherds' any time soon, given my send-off to them. I think and hope that they're perplexed and a bit skeered of me at this point. BUT, if they do ring my bell, I hope that I'm in my skimpy jammies when I answer, since my seething sensuality seems to be their issue with me...

Are you still officially a JW JH? When I was fading away they only came once after two months to tell me they felt sad that I wasn't regular in the FS as I had once been. I ignored them because they never cared about me when I was active, they only came because they wanted to get something out of me.
I told them things worked both ways the JWs give to the org and the org should show more interest for the JWs. They never took the hint so eventually I left.

No, we don't worry. If out of a .0001% chance it is after looking out the sidelight. We will just turn around and go back to what we were doing. If they keep ringing, the doorbell, a neighbor who is a cop is just down the street.

I have been out of the organization since April 1992. The JWs no longer stop at my door. In fact, I never see them in my neighborhood. When the doorbell rings, it is usually a local politician during election time, college kids selling books, or contractors wanting to to do something to the property. Even the Avon lady does not come around.

At the local KH the meeting ends at 11:30am. The Sunday following the CO visit my phone rang. The time was 11:40am. I didn't pick up and whoever called didn't have the courtesy to leave a message on the machine.
Nervous when the phone rings or when the doorbell sounds. Yep.
I had to explain to my husband why I tiptoe to peek thru the blinds in another room when the doorbell rings. To this day, my heart races if I see someone on the porch. It's usually just kids selling fundraisers, but my worst nightmare is to have already opened the door and see the Dubs.
This comes from when I had my little apartment, and they'd ring out front, then creep around back and pull on the patio door. It twasn't stalking or trespassing, it was "loving concern!"
I should install a camera outside my door, then I would know who it is....
