I have been waiting for Paris to go home for weeks. I just don't like her attitude. I also think it will come down to Katherine and Chris. Doesn't really matter who wins once they get that far they'll sell albums either way. I love Chris though cause he's great to look at.

Yes. I've really liked him the past two weeks.

there were two shows where the timbre and tone of Elliot's voice really blew me away but I am beginning to questioned whether I imagined it because I haven;t heard him sing that well since so I can understand your doubt over his talent.

I think I know the shows you mean. I still think the others are a lot better than he is.

Interestingly, last week Simon told Elliott that he had given a "Master Vocal Class" to the other contestants--Randy and Paula too.

I think Elliott has enough 'soul power' to stay. In the least he has been influenced by the Otis Reddings, Al Green, Joe Cockers of the world.

Taylor sucked bad last week.

I was truly disappointed at Taylor this week. For the last 2 weeks he has really been bad. He is going to have to pick it up or he; ll lose his fan base.

I was sad to see Kellie go, but she had to eventually, no way we were going to have a country idol 2 years in a row. and realy, she was not god enough for AI.

I think Chris and Kat will be the in final 2, and Chris wins. . I'd buy his music now. Kat is very beautiful and talented. She needs an edge however, to win.I personally find Elliot boring. I guess I just don't like the typeof music he sings.

Paris is annoying, and confusing. I can't get a handle on her.. She is very young and it shows , one week she is one style and next week another. Actually her voice is not that great. but she has a famous gandmother, and Randy and Paula know her. So expect tot see her through at least one more week.

Last night, I saw Kevin (the chicken little guy?) at a musical in new york last night. The 8-10 year old girls were all lined up for autographs. Lol! It was cute.

Well, I think poor Taylor is feeling a little down from last week and I think he needs so cheering up... so.... I am making a really happy sign for him to read.......I'm getting on a plane.... ...........AND GOING TO THE AMERICAN IDOL DRESS REHERSAL on TUESDAY!! How fun is that??? Wooo! -Lisa

Catherine is just precious...her mother is a well-known cabaret singer. Paris' grandmother is a well-known gospel singer - it's running in the genes this time around.

I think just as much as 'genetics' may have to do with gifts, I don't discount 'exposure' to the arts.

Kobe Bryant, Tiger Woods, Drew Barrymore, ~~Tori Spelling~~, etc. Sure all are talented, but we are talking about the chance to be exposed at an early age to an accomplishment of people at very high levels.

I look at this show as who would I buy a CD of. Only Taylor and Chris. I love Taylor because he is so quirky. Oh heck...they'll all have CD's out after the show anyway.
