Would you like to send your love back to the xxxxx congregation?

  This was a major deal in my congregation. Because our congregation was made up of mostly immigrants people would travel back to their own countries for a short vacation and come back to give "love" to our congregation from wherever they went to. After a while it almost became a contest:

  "Please receive "love" from congregation X in Puebla Mexico"

  "Brother X brings back "love" from congregation Y in Lima Peru"

  "Sister so and so would like to send our "love" to the brothers and sisters of congregation Z in Santo Domingo. Would you like to send it?"

  I think the straw that broke the camel's back in my mind of how stupid this was, one day I heard this one, "Auburn East would you like to send your love to Auburn West?"

  That happened to us too! Our congregation was split in two; the second congregation used the same hall; literally, 1 hour after we did on Sunday. How silly it felt to constantly send "love" back and forth between the two congregations!

  Can't you just feel the love?

  On a side note, I never did receive this 'love' from other congregations.

  I remember once getting the love back and thinking 'what's happened to all the other love I've sent over the years?' Have those bastards been banking it or something?

  Around these parts it's only still done as a tactic employed by the r&f elders within their own congregations when they wish all in the congregation to know that their two-week absence from Jehovah's bountiful spiritual table was because they were vacationing--particularly when said vacation locale is some luxury one the majority of "publishers" will only dream of ever affording to visit:
  
  "'Brother College-Educated-and-Executively-Employed-Unlike-You-Looosuhs' and his family bring the warm love and greetings of the Turtle Island congregation in Fiji..."

  I remember a cute blonde in another congregation.........no I am not gonna say anything naughty but all those xxxxx's got my mind going.Her name was G$@% and I looked for her at every CA or DA.Out of 50000 robots I spotted this doll......................That may have been love but the borg seemed to frown on NORMAL so I searched outside for love.....did not want the DRAMA.Just wanted a life but I wonder about her.
