    Hey, oldtimers:

Is anyone interested in a revival of the old H2O?
It's just in its beginnings for any who might be interested.

In spite of the dark Star Wars mistique of the site, if you are interested in checking it out, go to this URL: http://www.hourglass2.com/forum/

Don't expect a lot of action right now--it just opened last week.

I see through a simple whois search that Timmy Kline is running this website. With Ros not far behind. Might be interesting, for a while. Yet I am of the opinion that it won't be long until it ends up like the H20 that is up now.

However, it will be fun to go through the archives!

I was there. For years. It (Rick) shot itself in the foot. With an automatic weapon. Many times.

No thanks. Once one puts the lights out, they cannot shine again. H20 had its shining moments in the limelight and Rick should appreciate that former glory. H20 was the Mecca for serious researchers, wackos and dub apologists. I will not forget those great memories. What I consider to be my best articles were posted there. (And then lost in cyberspace when it went defunct).

Joseph Malik has captured that essense and may still have the keys to access that board and capture the great things it did in its day.

Hey Farks! those were the days eh?
For the record I have no part with this new 'H20' board nor the other H20 running on aimoo.
I am certainly more than a little pissed that they decided to steal and copy outright my Oasis Forum (for abuse survivors) I created before moving on from H20. Even the fickin description is copied word for word. I suppose imitation is the highest form of flattery ....
Hoping all is well with you.

Incidently, I have no intentions of registering to the site. Just perhaps going through the archives. Perhaps. I really don't want to give it much traffic though.

I may have come across the old H2O forum in my first days on the net. And that would have been the last days of the forum. I did have the link so I must have gone at least once.

From what I understand about it the forum was great as a place to hash out WT doctrine. Every now and then we see an old post from the H2O archives. If that it w]hat the forum did then it was great.

But I also understand that as the forum grew so did the problems. And that is what caused its demise.

Having access to many of the old posts would be great.

However believing the new forum will one day equal the old one is illogical.

Many of the old posters have moved on. Some have died or are too ill to participate.

Whatever makes up a forum, whether great or not, is the particular group of people who participate and what they bring to the group. Without the group the forum is changed. Even if the old members all went back the forum will be different. The members have changed and their need to rip apart doctrine is no longer what it used to be. Farkel has it right

While there is some need to discuss the doctrine it isn't the doctrine that is pushing people to leave the WTS. It is the lack of love and the legalism.

The doctrine part is still discussed here (to wit: all the 607/1914 threads) The recovery part is the stronger need right now INO.

But who knows. Maybe a new influx of people will want to hash out the old doctrines
