IMO, I think demons and ghosts are two different things. Ghosts, yes, im a believer. I have never had demon experiences though, except when i was a kid, and we played with a ouiji board. When they asked who they were talking to, it spelled out satan all by itself! Very freaky.

I believe they exist but not that they can attack humans by invading the physical world and causing effects in it. They can however exert a powerful influence on the human mind, thoughts, feelings, and moods.

That makes sense is similiar to what I believe. So when the bible says Satan entered Judas it merely means, satan influenced Judas. Not that he physically entered him? That would make sense.
So I think in the OT when they mention Satan he is in physical form and when Jesus saw him also, but sometimes the bible says satan but means his influence? Anyone else have an opinion?

In absence of hard evidence, and in light of the fact all 'demon' experiences are quite explicable by the fields of psychiatry and psychology, no.
If they do exist they're pretty pathetic. Most human interactions every day are 'good'. If the spawn of satan is spreading evil, they're obviously not putting enough hours in. Probably submitting falsified reports...

Sasquatch lives in my neighborhood. We discovered this last summer at the annual neighborhood barbecue and pool party. He took his shirt off to get in the pool and people ran screaming, gathering up the children, fleeing in panic. We were all traumatized.
Well in that stranger's defense, electrolysis is way too expensive, and waxing is torture!
We are not inviting him this year.
Could I be allowed to come? I'm rather puny so I'm more of a fuzzy caterpillar than a BigFoot.
Back to the topic (sorta):
I've never had a demon experience. Especially not any hot steamy ones with succubi. Damn it! Maybe I should reconsider that electrolysis thingy.

Remember how you couldn't watch magic shows because they were demonic? Just imagine! Lance Burton must have a whole staff of demons working for him, doing that nightly Vegas show, plus two shows on Saturdays. I wonder if they get paid scale? Do they get to go on vacation when he does? I wonder if it was difficult timing their powers to the music he uses. Did they get any input as to the songs, costumes, or tricks he uses?

No, I do not. No proof. And this is something I have publically stated to a couple of different elders, who raised their eyebrows at me with a "we shall see" look on their faces, but no discipline was given.

well I did at one time and do still believe in an existence of a spirit world, I have had almost 0 probems with so called "demon attacks" since not attending meetings. I just don't think about it anymore. Although i am not fearful of the spirit world, i do still believe it exists.

Hmmmm demons, eh? Nah, I never bought into that whole devil/demon possession thing. This is just my opinion, the whole devil/demon thing was just a means to control the masses by the churches at the time. Now, if we are talking about ghosts and spirits and what happens to a person after they die, that's different. I've had some weird experiences, nothing too mind bending but it did raise the hairs on the back of neck.
