No..but seriously...when anything bad happens to a JW it is either Satan attack them or some thing Demonic. I lent a brother a CD once and his father through it away has it had a small picture of a cross on it..and he claimed that since the CD came inot their house they were under demonic attack.

Also a while back now I struggled to get time of work to attend the Friday of the District Convention..eventually I got the time of, but the Thursday before I was involved in a car accident (not my fault I must add) which meant I could not go on that day in the end anyhow.I was told it was Satan attacking me and tryuing to stop me from attending the Convention.

Anyway, I will leave all the demons and ghost / spirits and the such like to Living TV.

I can`t believe that i am the only person so far on here that has experienced a demon attack! It happened when i was in bed, i thought someone had broken into my house, as there was something lying on my back, (i was lying on my front, as that is how i liked to sleep). I also experienced a warm hand around my stomach, which totally freaked me out, as i really thought it was an intruder. I have had my hair pulled from the side of the bed when i was younger, and i know of a few people who have experienced similar things. In fact, they have sexually attacked some women, a sister in one cong was frequently attacked, her grandmother was a medium, and they put it down to that. I don`t know why i got it, as my house was new, i was a practising jw at the time, and wasn`t involved with any demonic practises. Please don`t underestimate the power of the demons, as they are real!!

Somebody in a congregation I attended said he was attacked and it too was in bed. He was on his back though and he felt strong pressure on his chest. He said he had to force himself up out of bed to breathe. No one else in the family experienced this which strongly points to it being an internal condition.

Look up the symptoms of sleep paralysis and some of the anomalies experienced with temporal lobe epilepsy. While I have never had the classic "Old Hag" experience, I have had the rather cool sensation of feeling like I was floating over my bed all the while with my eyes wide open and seeing that I was still firmly in bed.

Midget-, i appreciate what you are saying, but i live alone, and i was def NOT imagining it! It is quite common for people to experience these attacks in bed, while people are asleep. At the time i remember struggling to break out of sleep and calling on J`s name, and it did flee! This is another thing that makes me still believe in `God` or creator as i like to call him!

Well if you're no longer or never really have been traumatized by it, and you have a way to end it that works for you, then I'm happy for you. More than anything, I mentioned that naturalist explanation because it can be a relief to hear, thereby lowering anxiety.I respect your take on the matter, so I offer it up to anyone else whose inclined to it.

That brother,by the way, ended up punching holes in all the walls of the house and ripping up floor boards (they recently moved in to the place). He said he found alot of items having to do with spiritism and ended up selling the place. A kiddie story compared to the stuff the Monsignor related to us in elementary religion class. See my being warped isn't totally my fault.
