Ticks are bad news these days with Lyme Disease. I know I've been tested twice for it because of tick's being attached to me from being out camping. I hate those darn things. You should have had ton of deet on you to keep them at bay.

You guys are freaking me out, so i google more info. Im sure they werent deer ticks. And only one got under my skin. Plus, it only sucked my blood for about 8 or less hours. It was on my arm, and wasnt there when i went to bed, only when i woke up! ewwwww! Im itching just thinking about it!
Lyme disease- It takes a deer tick 24-48 hours of feeding before they can transmit Lyme disease. In Wisconsin about 15- 20 % of the adult deer ticks and about 7-9 % of the nymphs carry the disease. Doing daily tick checks is very important in reducing the chance of transmission. There has been no evidence in the laboratory of wood ticks transmitting the disease.
In defense of the idea of a .22 shot gun, there is over/under type that has a 22 rifle coupled with a .410 shot gun. A lot of young guys I know had this as a first gun.
Maybe ticks were created to show us how bad blood transfusions are...
Wonder what ticks ate before the flood?

The one I had, my bf so openly told me, that it wouldnt even touch the scull of a bear that size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That made me feel much better staying out there alone. I was prepared! I had the ladder leaned up agains the cabin, so i could get up there and sit with my 22! LOL
that'll teach you to be away from your puter that long ever again!
I never had a tick bite but I am surprised that so many could be biting you without you feeling any pain. Unlike that other great nuisanse the mosquito.

They actually inject something that makes you not feel them (i've heard...I am not a biologist). Anyhow, I was fishing one day in shorts around some tall grass. Later that evening after stepping out of the shower I had one hell of a shock: a tick had attached itself to my testicles. I laugh about it now, but OH THE HORROR!!!!!!!!! I am now completely paranoid of ticks and my wife makes fun of me. She just doesn't get it.

LMAO Yeah, most of my 18 ticks were on my clothes, but one managed its way into my bra! I felt a tickle and looked, and screamed!!!
Yikes Butt.... That's nasty!!!! Yep, ticks are officially out now. My husband had a few on him this weekend too after we went fishing.

Why were you all alone???
