The congregation I was in when I left had an Elder like that. He was constantly popping by my business which was in my home to chat and probe into our business. I hate that man and he totally thought women were stupid animals to keep changed to the house. Lord just thinking about that guy gets my blood boiling. LOL

Um, remember you live in a free country and you are under no obligation whatsoever to meet with this guy.

However, if you want to make sure he doesn't bother you again, Google "bubonic plague" and "symptoms" and see what comes up. Tell him you've got several of the symptoms and you don't think it's wise for him to come by.

These type of Elders are quite common, they seem to move congregations like its going out of fashion and stir everything up, trying to sort out all the problems they percieve a congregation has. They end up upsetting everyone before they move on to their next victims.
