My experience is that many of the older COs feel trapped and are getting tired...I have seen 4 leave to take care of "older parents," parents that had needed help for some time and were being taken care of by others...bad health is another reason they leave.

The COs have to be company men even more than the elders...they are financially more dependent on the WTS and there next assignment depends on how "nice" they are. Don't want to be sent to the cold northern climes of Minnesota or Wisconsin.

Be brave and print up some child abuse awareness fliers and stuff them in your briefcase. "Place" them at the doors when he isn't looking.

Or if you are feeling extra brave, "place" them when he IS looking.

You are truly honored , in my cong's the CO only ever went out with the "A" list spiritual elite, elders, pioneers and arse licking MS that wanted in on all those filthy JC details.

Who's arse have you been kissing to get that privilege?

I went out in service with Carry Barber when he was a CO. It was a hot Florida Sunday afternoon after a long meeting. We went to a few doors, made a few RVs and after about 50 minutes he said: "I am tired let's all go home."

I loved being in the same car group and watching people trying to come up with SPIRITUAL topics that made no sense and seemed rehearsed. It was awesome, and you really learned what brown nosing meant.

How exciting for you, I bet you can't wait. Most of the co's I have known went out with elders or servants, although one, a very humble man in every way, went out with anyone but them. Needless to say, he was popular with the r&f but the elders were glad to see his 3 - year tenure end.

So you have to explain to him why you are weak in the service eh? A few "Praise Allahs" might give him a clue. Good luck.

good luck on your field service with the CO!

I remember when I was well onto my 'fade' I was picked to read the Days Text because I was an excellent reader (his words not mine).

He then picked on me to work with him.

We got chatting about Jersey and Guernsey, the Channel Islands which come under the jurisdiction of the London branch. I told him I regularly go there on business but he was soooo not interested! All he kept on about was how nice it was to see the brothers and what a lovely Kingdum Hell they had. He was not interested in me, my job or anything.

Anyway i remember that in the hour (it seemed like a day!) we worked together i placed some mags and he didn't - in fact contrary to what I expected he was pretty useless on field service.

A couple of years later he got removed from his position for alcoholsim!!!

They are the GB's whip boys they are there to promote its interests and keep an eye on the elders in case they don't take care of the society's interests.

You should tell him that you don't give a toss about the well being of this org which serves human and not god's (jehonah's) interests.
