"IN VIEW OF THE URGENCY OF THE TIMES" No man knows the hour or day, Jesus admitted this. So, how can the Watchtower make the statement that they continue to make to the rank and file? In view of the urgency of the times has been stated for over one hundred years. It is time that they zipped the lip on this kind of scare tactics.

Just standard sales techiques, used in many professional sales jobs to drum up new business. I think it is amusing that a religions organization has to use this though to promote their religion. Yet their success is so limited that it is not even worth doing. Everyone could stay home and would have as much growth just from people popping in to the meetings out of curiousity.
