Aww, man, Else. I know medical procedures are no fun at all. I bet once it's over though you'll feel so much better...I can't imagine having something that size in my sinus!
hugs coming your way

My sinus problems do not hurt, but it is a major pain in the ass because I can hardly breath through my nose. Oddly enough I was not too sure I had a problem to begin with since my breathing difficulty slowly got worst over the years. I kept thinking I was just being a little bitch about not breathing because, when you stop and think about it, none of us really have a frame of reference for knowing what "normal" breathing is like for everyone else The thing that scared me into going to the Doctor was a nightmare last Monday night. In the nightmare I was panicking because I could not breath and when I woke up I took a deep breath through my mouth because my nose was completely closed. Basically it was sleep apnea... something that can kill you. I had a hunch that my problem was sinus polyps because my dad had the same problem when I was a kid, but I delayed going to the Dr because he had a very traumatic experience with the surgery. I wasn't there, but my mom said that due to the pain he turned white as a ghost during a followup visit to the Dr. During the surgery the Dr has to pack the sinuses with gauze and then pull them out a few days later... the removal of the packing is what my mom was talking about. I recently talked to someone who has had the procedure two times and he said that the new techniques used have greatly improved resulting in a far better experience... so this helped calm my nerves a lot.
Dang dude.....sounds like your growin a new testicle in your nose!
Hey....you'll be fine You and I can piss and moan together since in about a week I'll have knee surgery.....guess it's the time of year when poo-poo hits the fan.
Recently just about every night I have a shot of nasal spray in each nostril. If I don't, I sleep with my mouth open to breath and get turtle tongue and it wakes me up........but the spray keeps it clear all night.

Ah, gumby, you are so....consistant. LOL Now, there's a picture for Else to carry with him...hopefully, not for long.
Good luck on your knee surgery, gumb. A fella at work had both knees done in February. He came back in April and seems to be doing great. He could use a brain replacement, but that's another story.
