Yeah, I guess in the 70s the meaning was totally different than in the 20s. In the 70s the meaning was that those in the Great Crowd would never die.

In the 20s when the campaign identified by that slogan was going on, there was no such thing as the Great Crowd.

Fact is, those people in 1935 who stood up (according to the Revelation Climax book) to identify themselves as members of the GC were promised they would never die. In reality, they were no better off than some cannibal in Sumatra (who died and will be resurrected just like those early GC dopes).

LOL -- No actually they feel they are better off because the belief ,as I mentioned earlier, is that the GC that die during the last days will be resurrected during the thousand year reign . Which I feel is a false doctrine because revelation says the first resurrection is for the 144k or holy remnant , the second death has no authority over those in the first resurrection .The second resurrection of judgement is after the millenial reign , it's where jesus will ask the questions of whether they treated his brothers with respect . I was naked you clothed me , I was hungry you fed me and I was in prison and you came to visit .......................... The left hand says they never saw jesus and go off into destruction where as the right hand gets eternal life .
