You know that saying about buses...well it is true in the case of the elders also.
Is there a Pakistani driving them?
Three elders, huh? Is this a JC they're luring you into?

It certainly sounds like theu are luring me into a JC...Oh well....I am not bothered...it is up to them...I do not lose out either way....I DA myself...no one talks to me...I amf DF'd no one talks to me...see if I care.
Typical Elder's directive: Did you hear that, he / she is questioning the Faithful Slave!! Get out the chopping the block and sharpen the axe. i.e. jc meeting.

Oh well! I am prepared for all there talk about me becoming an apostate...showing little faith...Blah, blah, blah!
For me, I'm in favor of giving them a chance to perform on their promises to answer questions. IF they have the answers, in my opinion, it shouldn't take much longer to answer the questions than it did to ask them. IF they don't answer the questions, it tells me either they don't want to provide answers TO ME, or it indicates they don't have answers as they have advertised (to me).
Either way, I did the ethical thing (for me) by giving them a chance to clear up my questions and my problems with the Society's behaviors. Now I'm free to just move on and live my life. I'd much rather judge people by what they actually DO, rather than by what they say (or say they do).
My way to separate the individual Witness people from the Watch Tower Publishing Corporation is to judge the people based on how they treat me and how they treat people who are important to me.
That's my thinking...I am giving them a chance to answer my questions..and ease my doubts...but it seems that already want to judge me by bring three elders to visit me. That have not given me a date yet has to when they will visit me...but I have been told it will three elders...so to me that does sound like a JC.
I have already said to my wife...if the DF me for asking a few questions and wanting some answers...then it just proves what kind of controlling organisation they really are...and to that she agreed, because even she cannot understand how someone can be DF'd just by writting a letter and asking questions and expressing their doubts and concerns. It was the only way I could actually get them to listen to me...Talking and phoning seemed to do no good...and no one bothered to call on me...I want to give them a chance...but I think they will wast that chance on telling me how my thinking as become 'twisted'
Historically, the only thing that made a Witness brother or sister an evil slave or as they call us now, an apostate, was the act of questioning the Watch Tower Corporation leaders. That's done by just asking questions.
The definition or a compliant, obedient member is one that does not ask questions. Asking questions is the opposite of accepting. They only want conformity and compliance. Questions aren't solicited, welcome, or answered in my personal experience.
It seems to me they are more concerned about DF'ing those that ask questions about the WTS then those that abuse children...There seems to be an unbalanced scale of 'justice' here.
I am expecting no love or mercy to be showen. In fact I am positive they have already judge me in their minds. I can read their minds now 'How dare he ask questions about the Watchtower Society. How dare he have doubts about Jehoavh's Earthly organisation. He is not worthy to be known has one of Jehovah's Witnesses or entry into the New System of Things. He does nor deserve everlasting life on a peaceful Earth......He must be Disfellowshipped'
In fact...if they do DF me...it might make my wife sit up and take notice, because she cannot even understand why three elders want to see me...she can even see it has a JC meeting. I told her...if they DF me...it proofs that there is no room for free will or free thinking with in the org...which means it acts like a cult...or it is a cult.
P.S.
Is it my computer....but the topics all seem to end on the 16th May...and I can only visit my topic by clicking into my profile and then click 'view topics' Can someone explain why this is please? Many thanks

While I was in the org, untill 2 years ago, I would NEVER have believed you would get DFs for asking questions. And theres a problem, because no one in knows why anyone is DFs. After it happens the gossip mill starts and you are convicted of anything and the elders dont stop it, in fact they start it.
the only thing anyone can do if they want the truth out about thier suituation is to send letters to friends and familyBEFORE you are seen by the JC
I was always told it was very hard to be DFs, that the elders would do anything to help you not be. Now I know the truth
If I do get DF'd I think I will go to the meeting, just so when they announce it I can stand up and say...I was DF'd because I asked a few questions expressing my doubts and concerns...I did not do anything immoral or even committed a really bad sin, all I did was ask questions. What a loving organisation this really is.
Then with that I will walk out with my head held high. Unless of course the throw me out first...hehehehe!
