That last post about the "college education" was so successful I decided to post another. Has anybody ever heard Witnesse say the above? They'll say that, and then they'll follow up with "My brain is washed of evil thoughts, immoral sexual impulses, independent, goatlike thinking, demonism, etc..." This is something I have heard in conversation, comments at the meeting, and from the platform in the congregation, though never at a higher level than that. It makes me want to barf.

I heard the comment made at a D.C. by a C.O. If I remember correctly his name was Veenstra.
He said something to the effect that worldly people and Poztates™ had accused the WT society of "brainwashing people"
His reply to the charge...In this wicked old world full of corruption etc etc etc our brains NEED A GOOD WASHING.
The crowd went wild with applause. Spin Control at it's finest.....

I was hearing that "We are brainwashed and we are proud of it, that proves we have clean brains!" back in the 1950's. That's the point I should have run screaming from the Kingdom Hall.

What else could they say, in fact the ideas used to brainwash them are doing them a lot more damage than the ideas they have supposedly washed away. They got enslaved by the WTS and cut off from the rest of mankind for the sake of vain promises.

Last time I visited our district convention there was some talk about influence of this satanic world. Elder who was speaking something like this:
Most of people think that we, JW's, are insane. Really, it is not about us being insane, it is that our brains has been washed clean from souring effect of this world
and filled with clean, sweet, producive energy of Jehovah's Organization.
I just barely could not to laugh when I heard that. After that, everyone looked very happy and I could see that they were thinking: "good, we are the best people in whole world". I could see it in their eyes..
