If asked: would you marry a prostitute most people would say no, but if asked would you marry a prostitute's daughter that doesn't like this game and has never been in it, would you do it, to have a prostitute as a mother in law and grand mother of your children?

I personally wouldn't do it hard though it may be on her decent daughter.

In this generation, Virgins are very rare. Unfortunately sluts, whores, prostitutes, or whatever label you desire to give a fornicator, the point is , it is inevitable to marry a non virgin in these times. You can only deal with what you get.

interesting. What makes the virginal daughter of a housewife more valueable than the daughter of a prostitute? Is her body different (will her reproductive parts "feel different" for having been spawned by someone who practices the oldest profession?) How about her soul? Will she value a sunset less for being the daughter of a prostitute? If you hurt her will she feel less pain? Will she feel less motherly when she hugs and nurtures your seed?

What makes her different? I'm simply curious.....Societal norms?

jw, are women somehow better human beings before their hymens are broken? And what is the value you are transposing onto the hymen? What makes a woman different the moment after she is "de-flowered". Will (was) your virginal wife be different, somehow less valueable once you break (broke) her seal?

I am a girl, so I wouldn't marry a girl in the first place..lol. Seriously though. If the mother was never around, I wouldn't care too much, it is not the daughters fault what lifestyle the mother chose. Now, if the mother was around quite a bit, flaunting her life choices, then I would definately give it some major thought.

Would I marry a prostitute? No.

But if she was a former prostitute, or a prostitute's daughter, I hope I would consider marrying her just as I would anyone else. Not my place to judge, people have many reasons for doing what they do, and IME some prostitutes are open honest and good people.

People have no mercy for a poor prostitute.

Jesus was the exception I guess.

On her death bed, my mother confided in two of my brothers that the story of her father running off to Alaska to mine gold and was lost in a snow storm was all a fraud. In fact she was the daughter of a Seattle call girl and her step father took her pregnant mom away and married her. So she really didn't know who her actual father was, a john from down town Seattle, for sure! She was so ashamed of it she never let it be known until the last minutes of her life. Personally, it's not an issue. Women have had to resort to this trade for thousands of years and for it to be a curse seems chauvanistic.

I am a young man, but I greatly dislike prostitution. That women are violently forced to prostitute themselves bothers me a lot and the evil or degrading way prostitutes are often presented aggravates me. Forced prostitution is the greatest crime to me! It is sad this rarely gets attention from the media.

However there are many sad reasons for prostitution. If a person willingly prostitutes him-/herself and enjoys it, I see nothing wrong with it.

To the question above I agree with Joe G.

Regarding “in this generation virgins are very rare” (this is only true in the liberal world, sadly women in totalitarian systems are very young virgins when forced to marry) -I am happy women today have the liberty to choose, experiment and decide their sexuality. As a man I think it’s great to be with a woman confident about her sexuality.

Well if to virgins marry and keep their vow to each other and never commit adultery, that is true love to each other.

They chose to have no others but each other.

So, the "love" that I experienced in my first marriage, which I entered as a virgin, which left me with a black eye after years of criticism and insults, is somehow purer and truer than the love I share with my current husband, a man who cares for me, a sweet, kind, hard-working man, the father of my child, because we happened to have slept with other people before we met?

I really cannot understand the prurient fascination with sex that some people have.
