Pretty much all the guys in my family will curse on occasion, regardless of their spiritual ranking in the JW kingdumb.
Those that don't take part in cursing, do take part in cursing-lite. For instance I have an uncle and his wife, they will say frickin' or flippin', dang it, crap, etc, etc,
This uncle is an elder too and doesn't blink an eye when his kids use the curse-lite words.
And to be honest,, if this elder/uncle was with me and the guys,, you'd definitely hear a few shits and damns.
I openly curse in front of my parents,, nothing too harsh, usually a damn it, or a shit here and there. Typically I do it under the pretense of trying to be funny.
After years of doing so, my mom,,, the major goody goody of the family will even let out a curse to be funny on occasion.
Dad ofcourse will emulate my style of cursing when it's just him and I. Love ya Dad!!!
