A little, but it was a low available amount. I have no cc balances at this time, and plan to keep it that way. cc is a mess in most young peoples lives, that takes years to correct.
Did you go "Wild", when you had your first Credit Card?

Never. I learned early in life about consequences. I try to avoid bad ones.

I was pretty good with mine until I got married, then all the sudden we needed everything!

I went wild with my first, second, third......15th, etc.
I locked into a spending pattern that also snared my wife in the process.
This last December, we hit the wall. We were in a hopeless mess. Even though I did not want to do it (more of a pride thing than anything else), we filed for Bankruptcy in March.
Now, it's cash, or we do without. I now have a budget plan, and we actually have money at the end of bills! I'm still waiting to see the downside to all this (filing has not stopped the flow of junk mail from credit card companies and car dealers offering to "help" us to re-establish our credit.).
Anyway, keep that card hidden from yourself if at all possible!

I know of someone that goes as far as freezing their credit cards in water. In doing so, by the time they get the credit card out of the freezer and unthawed, they've
had sufficient amount of time to reason on whether they truly need to use the card. I think they got this idea from a dr. laura type program

Yeah. Well, I never "went wild," but I had to max it out, and the next one, out of necessity. All I had for 4 months was a single stipend that was used up by moving expenses. I was soooo poor those first few months. Ended up maxing out 4 cards. And it took about 3-4 years to pay them all back.

At first I was cautious. That lasted a very short time and before long I was under a mountain of debt. I'm talking several CC and add to that MrPanda's CC, we used 'em for everything. Now we don't have any and we're almost---working towards---getting there. This time never again means never again .

I went wild with them as I was suffering alot from depression in Dub land and got in many high bills, I had at one time over a dozen credit cards, now I pay cash for almost everything I only have one card which I lowered my limit just in case of emergency or when I have to buy something on the net, thats it, I learned the hard way.

Undecided
Don't remember my first one, but my last one is $7,000 now. Had to use it for tires for my cars, dentist bills, doctor visits, computers etc. Stupid I know but I didn't have any cash money. I pay more than the minium payment but it will be 5 years before I get it paid off, if I live that long. The interest is ridiculous.
