my next one will be lower back or my hip. I want something celtic in origin because that's my heritage and I love many symbols of celtic design.

My daughter has a Celtic something on her lower back - I'll try to find it on some site. That also is her heritage and she has done a lot of research about the Celts.

I got it done in March. 3 tiger lillies on my ribs under the left breast...it's a memorial tattoo for 3 friends of mine who have passed away recently..i also have my navel pierced..and i plan on getting a very private piercing soon when i turn 20

nobody in my family knows and no one in the congregation knows..haha i love playing with my belly button ring during the meetings..i feel so rebellious..not really but oh well

I love my tattoo, it was designed by a friend and it looks very nice and i love the position of it.

<--------------------- My avatar is my tattoo.

I got a shamrock with three leaves because I wanted it to be about my heritage, not luck. (My family is from County Cork, Ireland.) My friends got together and got it for me for my 30th birthday. It is on my left ankle. It hurt, but not so bad that I couldn't stand it.

I also got one because I wanted a symbolic gesture to the WTS to say, "You $^*$^ don't contol my life any longer." I want another one very soon....

I donĀ“t have any tatts. It seems to be a pretty big fad. In the old days you had to go to the circus to see the tattoed lady, now you have to go to the circus to see a lady without them. I was at the beach in northern Mexico where there are alot of Americans and our group was the only one without them. Mexico is still a conservative country and tatts are looked down upon. The stigma in the US and Canada seems to be gone. In Mexico if you see a girl with 2 or more tatts then she is usually a ummm... well loose.

    Interesting...

What is a guy with 2 or more tatoos considered then?

I have one I got on my 25th birthday. It's centered on my lower back . Sorry I took the picture myself and it wasn't the easiest picture to take

I have three, all on my arms. The first one I got when I was still a dub was on my forearm. When My book study conductor saw it he rolled his eyes and made the comment that it wouldn't look to bad when my hair grew back because the hair on my arms would hide it.

After I left I got a dragon tattooed on my other Arm because of its symbolic meaning.

    I do.

Ring of sunflowers around my left ankle. I got it when I got engaged. Ha, I was still living at home. My family wasn't overly crazy about me marrying out of the truth, but oh well. So my husband and I decided to get tattoos for the occasion. I kept mine covered with socks so my mom wouldn't see it and one morning I woke up and was drinking a cup of coffee with my mom and pulled my knees up and well, she saw it.

The look on her face was really funny. Like, "what the hell is that?!" I didn't know what to say. In fact I don't remember what I said. Want to get a few more and a nose piercing....

An eyebrow piercing would be cool, but ahhh not ready for that. Yet.

    Peace

I got this when I was about 19. The guy that did it was extremely average. There was a lot of detail that he totally missed. I've considered getting more over the years. There's just always an excuse not to. I designed an ankle band years ago that I really like. Recently I've been playing around with designs representing each of my family members (wife and kids) incorporating their names. It's just difficult for me to justify spending the money on tattoos. I also worry about the message that I'll be sending my young impressionable children. It sucks to get old.
