There was a thread about how the WTBTS was cooperating with the Moonies Scientologists and other movements in Russia.
I think they are also involved with the Interfaith Alliance.
This is put into the ASSembly so that when they are exposed on this issue as hypocrites, the R&F will refuse to believe it, just as happened with the UN, Phillip Morris, Randcam and child abuse scandals scandals.

It's just another ploy to motivate the R&F who seem to be losing their enthusiasm after the change in the 1914 generation as they now have to consider the possibility that the end is very far away whereas before it was always just round the corner.
Intensifying their preaching activity means intensifying the commercial activity of selling the society's publications.
Quite amazing. Really makes you wonder what the need for a resolution is since their faithfullness to the end of the world has allready been revealed in prophecy (gag).
By the way, Was there a resolution at the "Gods Prophetic Word" convention? That was my first convention and I think I remember a resolution then. Mabyee it was a few years later, I just can't remember.
These resolutions look like the GB have been very BAD boys and because people are losing faith in them they may be trying to make sure people think they are still believeable. The resolution makes them look more guilty----If you have to make a resolution instead of just doing the right thing, that is very sad!!!! I'm sure Jehovah has resolutions all the time in heaven.

Something doesn't seem right with this resolution.
The assemblies are the only meetings that I ever attend to support my wife, so I will look out for this and report back.

aww, how nice, the FDS are resolving not to get involved with internet pornography.
What morons have to do something like that?
Reminds me of that "1-yr (?) chastity vow that these kids (...theeese kids nowadays...) took awhile ago that was exposed by some Stanford (?) study as %50 having taken the vow and SHOVED it.
It's a cool thought that the FDS have to struggle against porn.

Does this mean that they were involved in Materialism, Entertainment, Drunkenness, Pornography? Otherwise why affirm that they would not get involved in these things?
Are they asking the R&F to follow their course in taking this resolution? What do they think is the purpose of telling everyone that mumbo jumbo?

It means that they won't go to any more meetings with a thousand other religious organizations at the UN like they have been for the past two decades.
