CoolHandLook,
I've seen them a couple times between houston and austin, by far some of the most layed back guys i've ever had the honor of meeting. They they are inspiring to watch and Alex the singer has an amazing voice. Really guys, these guys are worth the drive...Damn I must sound like a groupie, but really, need to check them out.
They have a performance on the special features of the Kill Bill 2 DVD. I honestly think that Robert Rodriguez slows them down, but great example of their live performance. Malaguena Salerosa was one of my wedding songs.

How could I forget Jake E. Lee. He was always one of my favorites.

Anything by Stanley Clarke!!!!
In 1983 or there abouts, the most perfect note in the history of the world was played by Mark Knopfler, with Dire Straits in a Live Concert for the Princess Trust Fund, aired on the King Biscuit Flower Hour. The song was "Romeo and Juliet/Love over Gold" medley. It was the most beautiful note I have ever heard. He was playing his Strat, the thinnest sound you ever heard, but with the power to make a grown man cry. I will never forget it. It wasn't fast licks... it was just one solitary quivering note that seemed to last a lifetime.
