Have you flipped out? She was not being resigned. She showed up tuesday and showed her arse and that's why they ask her not to come back. She is a "star" and she puts herself out there everyday. She is so uppty. This is sort of karma.. People always have favorites among tv/movie personalites. It comes with their territory.. They did not killl her, she will go on and quite well I'm sure.

She was not DF. She lost a job, her contract was not renewed.

It takes a while to leave JWS-THINK

In the real world you are not DF but people can fire you, and you can be removed from positions etc, based on job performance or any number of things.

Ha ha ha....This is sooooooooo funny....I emailed Elizabeth today and complained about her interrupting people when they are talking (she is bad for that) and for a side note I said... that I was glad that Star was booted off the show and that I could not wait for Rosie to start!

I don't watch The View much, but I don't like Star much of the time. Don't know about Rosy either. Joy Behar gets a little tiresome. Meredith and Barbara are the brains and Elizabeth is a flake. I don't watch TV too often.

Elisabeth did well on Survivor and then hosted a show on the Fashion Network (The Look for Less) and then she landed The View. During her Survivor Outback days.

I was joking about her DFing. I likened her firing to being DFed.

She did not resign unless you call saying I quit a couple of months before her contract expired and she was told she wouldn't be used again quitting.

Who would want to hire Star Jones now? She is out of control, not a team player.

you would not believe how many new x- jws come here that are DF and equate everything to being DF. It is sort of a PTSD reaction. (post traumatic stress disorder)

Purps, LOL that is so funny you emailed BW about it.

There are times I get so angry at the morning DJs on Country Radio here in Los Angeles. One day I got to work and wrote them a nasty letter. I was so close to faxing it in. I chose not too do it. LOL

I don't even listen to these two people very long. I usually just flip through the stations hoping to find a song that I actually like. I just hear their voices for a few seconds and I get so irritated.

Sometimes I get so angry with the media/entertainment industry shovels at us.

Then I get suckered in with things like Star Jones being fired or Katie Holmes and Tom Cruse having a baby.

Since when has that been a barometer for our tolerance of stars?!?!?

For sure Barbara Walters was right when she said Star helped make The View, and The View helped make Star for 9 years.

Somehow perhaps as a society we expect fat black women to be demure and coquettish when they become successful...a la Oprah. Full of goodness and kindness. When they don't act according to our pre-arranged comic strip, we call them uppity. What's up with that????

That's not reality.
