    She is out of control

Since when has that been a barometer for our tolerance of stars?!?!? <Tom Cruise, Russel Crowe, Paris Hilton>

For sure Barbara Walters was right when she said Star helped make The View, and The View helped make Star for 9 years.

Somehow perhaps as a society we expect fat black women to be demure and coquettish when they become successful...a la Oprah. Full of goodness and kindness. When they don't act according to our pre-arranged strip, we call them uppity. What's up with that????

    That's not reality.

Most people that lose weight ...........it brings out the beauty that was always inside a person......

Star jones is the only person I know that all her weight was good for her as it seemed to keep her meanness inside.

speaking of meanness..........I cannot stand her forehead .......or her eyebrows...

    she needs some serious bangs.......

I dont like it that I dont like her..........I hardly find anyone that I cant find something in them to like.

ohhhhhhhhhh I like it that she OFF the show

I don't even listen to these two people very long. I usually just flip through the stations hoping to find a song that I actually like. I just hear their voices for a few seconds and I get so irritated.

A radio station I listen to ........in the am...........is losing me, from a stupid commercial a car dealership is playing all the time.......

Some guy in a bad Forrest Gump voice says something about chocolates and the asst of cars .........ugggggggggggggggggg

How freaking old is that movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????

so I flip to another station and then forget to go back.........so am liking this new one better.

That woman is just plain uppty and mean. Her color has 0 to do with it. I don't care what color she is I expect her to not not always demand to get things her way," play nice" with others, and be respectful of others. That is not too much to ask of anyone.

It has been one of my favorite shows. The view, for me, is over. I will not listen to Rosie rant and rave, not a daily basis. I would hope Rosie would see this as a great chance to get back her fans, but who knows.

But like I said, I may tune in for the train wreck that is sure to happen. hmmm

wonder who will fill Star's spot?

    anyone care to speculate?

Since Lisa Rinna's Soapnet show just got cancelled, I predict she'll be on the View. I also predict that next year will be the View's last season. Let Barbara finally retire and have lunch with her girlfriends, let Elisabeth have another baby, let Rosie shut up and let Joy do stand up at some cabaret in Upper Manhattan.

Joy Behar is a great example of a fine balance. She is not quiet, but not overly agressive. If she was too agressive, how could the team function? They all had a part in the team. It is not "the Star Jones show" . Star was fine and many of us loved (or liked ) her for years. But she is has changed and become full of herself, conceit at it's finest.

I don't like Star for the same reasons I don't like Tom Cruise, Russel, or Paris. Her skin color has nothing to do with it.

Wednesday, I thought Star Jones was full of crap and herself since the view first aired.

When I have been home and able to watch the show I wouldn't, hardly ever, because of Star Jones.

Did you see Anderson Cooper afterward? He was imitating her talking and smiling the entire interview.

She was smiling way too much. As usual she was fake.

I don't really care for Barbara Walters and I don't believe she is so innocent in all of it, blaming ABC.

But after all it is Show Business. It shouldn't be a surprise to her that BW fired her. She must have known she was losing fans. I missed some of the interview w/ LK. Did she say anything about that?

She's hurt and angry and I don't blame her for that.

I COULD NOT stand her and I even emailed Barbara Walters saying how glad I was that Star was off.

Me too. I sent Barbara an email saying the same thing. In the last couple of years, I've thought Star was EXTREMELY annoying. First her engagement, then her wedding, then the "do we have a baby or not", and the last straw for me was the dog, and how she acts like it's her baby. Give me a break.

I watched Larry King and now I feel a little differently about her losing her job. I guess it's good to hear the whole story, both sides. She has a viewpoint, and the only thing I am critical of now is that she went to People magazine before her little speech on the view and didn't tell anyone. To me that was dishonest. But she did go for two months knowing she was out, and didn't say a word until this week.

You can bet she had plenty of legal advice before going on Larry King's show...............oh, and of course her minister's.
